All erect series can be produced either with silicone or with a plastic erection rod. Silicone rod is included in the basic price. If you decide to buy a plastic rod, it will cost you additionally+€50.00

Rod is made of light plastic. Therefore, you will not experience any problems in airports when going through the metal detector. The rod may exhibit some noise when flexing. This is due to the friction of the plastic ball joints. (The flex rod is a plastic rod made up of many small ball & socket joints.)
Rod is very sturdy and durable. There are no cases that it breaks or gets damaged in any other way. In some cases, the ball comes out of the socket connector. But it can be returned back into the original position by pressing ball to socket joint. Rod joints can pop out (In that case, you need strongly press the popped-out part to fix it in place and move the joint back into the first position).

Rod is not removable.

LUBE THE ROD FOR LESS NOISE!

I love the plastic Rod but since it's not removable to lube up before pack or play from time to time my opinion is you guys should find a safe long term lube to apply thoroughly to each rod before you insert it. I've also had the other rod and I prefer it over the plastic Rod just because it doesn't make noise! Other than that it's a great prosthetic for my height and weight . 5'3 150

Just a must for the pack and play series!

For me personally, this additon was an absolute must and met all my expectations. Although yeah, a small adjustment to the way it clicks, this function is insanely useful if you want to quickly tuck yourself in! I would still be gentle like it's the real deal ( you wouldn't be bending your own junk about like a toy LOL) so be mindful that this is definitely an addition that aids in getting into certain positions and has helped so much when it comes play! So worth the additonal cost and would definitely add this to my next pack and play order.
